Jerry has been a percussionist since he could barely walk.  His first pro gig was keeping the beat for his Dad's band as they played for weekly dances at their lodge hall.   In high school, he joined with Bill to form the Tremolos & Cactus Kids, and has backed numerous bands on the West Coast for years.   Jerry is one of the finest precision percussionists around, surprising audiences--as well as the RCR--as he deploys his collection of rather unusual instruments....cow bell, gourd, spoons, beat stick, and other noisemakers on which he can tap out a rhythm.  His original percussion arrangements can be heard on the RCR CD as well as in their live performances.   Jerry is also an avid power boater and a member of the Portland Yacht Club.
